Working in SPH

Wow....without realising it....I have been working in SPH ( Singapore Press Holdings) for nearly 3 months already.

Well....The job is kinda boring.....and very often we need to work OT (Overtime)..so tiring...

But the motivation for me to continue working is the colleagues working with me at SPH!!!
They are a group of great people....and we work like a family!!!

A pity that some of them has already left the family for studies and some other reasons...haiz...

So I will be working at SPH for another one month or so....I think i am gonna miss them when i leave SPH...

2 SIR - Best Infantry Unit!!!

The Achievement Coin was given to all Commanders who put in the effort to help our unit achieved the Best Infantry Unit!!!

It's my honour to have work with all these outstanding Commanders!!!

Yeah....last month I was invited to go back to my Army Camp (2nd Battalion, Singapore Infantry Regiment) at Yio Chu Kang aka 2SIR Amoy Quee Camp for Happy Hour!!!!

The Happy Hour is for all the commanders to come together for a gathering after we had ORD, catch-up with the Regular Commanders....and also to celebrate our unit achievement for year 06/07!!!!

Time really files....It has been more than 8 months since I last step into the camp...As I was walking toward my camp from Yio Chu Kang MRT station with my buddies from the army, Memorises started to rush into my brain...the same old path we walked whenever we go for our Night Off...the same old path we took whenever we book-in or book out of camp....

The feeling of going back camp now is so different when I was still serving my NS, when I was Holding the appointment of HQ Platoon Sergeant and also 84mm Recoilness Rifle Section Commander....Hahhaha...Pls allow me to Hao Lian (Hokkien, meaning show off) abit..

Heez...so so happy to see my fellow comrade back home in Amoy Quee Camp.....so happy to see my Encik aka CSM aka Company Sergeant Major ( I will never forget him!!!)

I miss those days!!!! I miss my army life!!!!
Those tough but sweet memories... ...We suffered together and have fun together....Being scolded by our superiors and training our own soldiers under our command...

Sentosa Cafe Delma

Yeah.....Went to Sentosa Cafe Delma the other day.....

Hmm....It's been quite sometime since I set foot on Sentosa.....

Cafe Delma is indeed a very beautiful place.....a very nice place for u to spend time with ur friends....and even your family....

So we spent our time there drinking....chatting and playing games....lol......

The Chalet!!!

Finally......The Chalet that We had always mentioned finally happened on the 12th of October (Friday) to 15th of October(Sunday)....

All Thanks to Wei Wei, Irene, Alex, Evelyn and Kee Sen for the efforts they put in to make this Chalet a success!!!

We do enjoyed ourselves....a pity that I can only join in on Sat night....So sorry to my dearest brothers and dearest sisters....was busy with some other friend's birthday celebration and gathering....I think I really miss out alot of fun....

Althru I only join u people on Sat Night....but I really enjoyed it!!!

We took quite alot of pictures....But guess wat?? The camera went missing after we check out the chalet on Sunday morning....And when Ah hao....Jia Li....wei wei and Irene went back to the chalet to look for the camera.....they couldn't find it....they only saw a cleaner cleaning and tidy out the place.....hmm....

It's our very first chalet organised by us after so many years of talking about it.......and all those precious picture are our memories.....but now....all gone....haiz....sad.....

食字路口 aka Food Chain

Haha....I really enjoyed last Sunday 食字路口 organised by Jacqueline, Zen and Ruby....

For those who have watch Jacky Wu (吴宗宪) program on Channel U....you guys sure know how to play this 食字路口 thing....

And for those who don't know.....well....go find out yourself....it's cool....hahaha....well...basically we need to go around looking for dishes and link these dishes together....

For example....if the 1st dish we eat is a Fillet O Fish....den the 2nd dish might be Fishball noodles or Fish head curry.....and the 3rd might be Curry chicken.....( But please take note, this 食字路口 game is play using Chinese Character and not English!!! I just make an example above for those friends who are non-Chinese)

OKay....watever.....

So this 食字路口 commence at Chinatown and we have more than 30 people participating in it!!
So the 3 organiser aka the 3 小天使 (angel) divide us into 3 large group....and each group will have one 小天使 following them( The 小天使 are more like a facilitator and ensure that none of the group play cheat in the event of playing 食字路口) ...小天使 were also tasked to give the group the 迷头, 迷中 and 迷脚 ( meaning the 1st dish, the middle dish and the last dish) at the correct interval so as to allow the game to be play smoothly.

So the Name of my group was Balls of Fury (LOL....we came out the group name ourselves) our team leader is Caleb and our 小天使 is Ruby....we also came out a cheer for our mighty team!!!

We kick off this 食字路口 at Chinatown...and after some dishes that we ate and some tasks that we did....we make our way to Geylang (where the 迷中 was) and then back to Bugis, monster ice (where the 迷脚 was)

We have to finished all dishes that we came across....and If I didn't remember wrongly...we actually ate nearly 10 dishes or more....well....
